He strives to introduce new technology innovations that will help better serve the needs of orthopedic original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). He joined Surface Dynamics with over 19 years of experience working at Biomet and Zimmer Biomet.

In addition, he has extensive experience in thermal spray technologies, cleaning of metallic implants, 3D printing, and the design and set up of stable processes for the manufacture of implantable medical devices.

He is well published in peer reviewed journals and has authored book chapters. He is a named inventor in multiple patents that have resulted in commercially viable and clinically successful products. He has extensive experience in managing large projects, teams of product development engineers, manufacturing engineers and research scientists.

Mukesh has a PhD in Materials Science from the University of Alabama, a Masters in Metallurgy from the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore, India, and an undergraduate degree in Metallurgy from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur, India.
